  • Home Stretch

February break is approaching. Which means another trip. This time, it's to the Philippines. I think it should be great fun, eh? Tonight, I digress, was Hot Pot Night with the Asian Students' Union. It was exceedingly exciting. Recently, Zachary and I decided to go dhabihah. Loads o' funtasticness. So we ended up with a great lot of fish ball. And noodle. But that's delicious, isn't it? Quite delicious, I must say. Regardless, we had some quality ASU boding time, and it was an experience. Tomorrow is sure to be another experience, just more biological. A trip to CityLabs. Much fun is in store. I can feel it. Nighty night, all! See you soon!

  • i'm back!

well... haven't been blogging in a while. had a lot of work, that's why. or maybe i just like making excuses. who knows. the second semester is nearing and, as always, the parents are freaking on grades. like craziness. mom asks me literally every half hour how i'm doing in school. what my grades are like. and it's not like i'm a bad student or anything, but she gets so worried. i dunno. it seems like overkill to me. for the meanwhile, until things get a little, let's say, calmer, i'll be on the internets less. (T_T) but that's life, eh?

  • The Weirdest Thing

i had career sem this morning and anni mentioned michael cera. i thought nothing of it, but i didn't realize that this was the first time in a long time that i'd even thought of him. lo and behold, the next block i had a free. any time i have a free, i check cracked.com for some new daily articles. and today, they had a flowchart and a whole article on michael cera. weird stuff. but it gets stranger. as i was reading another new article that came out today, an article on absolute rulers who did really strange things with their power, greg was sitting to my left. he then asked me a question about turkmenbashi. the last time i had heard the name was in history class last year. and sure enough, turkmenbashi was in the number one spot on the list. i was really freaked out. there are no coincidences.

zac is out today for senior districts. he has to be at boston latin until 530. bummer. that's like band class, times 9. craziness. anyway, i now need to go to japanese lesson by myself at 4. never happened before. freaky stuff. looks like a fun day coming up. i want to go to the hypnosis show tonight. i heard last year that they're really funny. i hope it is. i should be doing my massive spanish project right now. i guess i'll hop to that, since i can't do the history homework with ms. cottle's confusing instructions. off i go.

  • Back at last...

well then, i have returned from the trip. it was very eventful, indeedishly. i thought that this was much more scenic a trip than the previous one, but perhaps not as family-oriented. the new hotel was nice, only ten days old when we arrived. our room smelled like a new building. anyhoozles. it was some fun. we went for some skiing. got some altitude sickness. purchased some swiss swiss army knife from switzerland. learned some italian. ate some food. good times. not glad to be back. maybe a little. but not much. school could be better. like not there. but that's how we all feel, isn't it?

    Trip Approaches

recently, upon discovering the goode family show, i decided to pick a favorite show. unsurprisingly, the goode family was that show. quite the giggle, it is. in fact, i watched all 13 of their episodes on youtube just yesterday. the username thegoodefamily5 is very helpful in chronicling the epic tales of the goodes. on a different note, the family is leaving (with me) on a trip later today. whoop-ee! very excited, i am. very exciting, it is. anyhoozles, you may be asking "what does this mean for me?". well, i'll tell you. it means that you, as a reader of this excellent weblog, will be deprived of my enrapturing ramblings. but, on the bright side, i'll only be gone until sunday. i hope you guys won't miss me too much. toodle-er-oo.
